Negotiated Practice

New unit!!!

I’m pretty excited to get to choose my own social issue to make authorial images about, it’s very nearly my perfect project.

I’m going to be analysing the scrutiny placed upon women and expectations of female beauty in society, how deeply engrained it is into our collective psyche (so much so that daily alterations, such as makeup/hair etc, seem almost necessary), and the psychological effect it has on women.
