Dearest me, here are some things you need to keep in mind.
- Not everything has to be ridiculously conceptual
- It is possible to run with an idea without analysing every singe aspect of it.
- Trying to say too many things at once tends to obscure a clear meaning behind an image.
- A colour doesn’t have to have a thousand rationalisations behind its usage.
- You are making a SET of images! Each one can be slightly different.. they don’t have to all say exactly the same thing, and it’s probably more interesting if there’s variety.
So, in summary, alright: Keep your concept in mind, but don’t let it take over to the point where you can’t experiment.
